Wow; it’s beautiful! What applique technique did you use for the skinny curved bits on the flowers in the lower right hand? I’ve been working on a hand applique project for the first time and am struggling with the smallest pieces. Your quilt is spectacular!
I use the starch and freezer paper method. I used to do needleturn until I took a class with Pearl Pierra of P3 Designs at the Applique Academy. I love the technique and now teach it. I scoped out your blog and see that you are trying different methods. Just keep practicing this method! The more you do, the easier it becomes. I promise!!
