Second Border on Civil War Bride

I finished stitching the second border of Civil War Bride this morning.  After I washed it, I trimmed it, just like the last border.

    • I wash each block (or border strip) as I finish it. I do this to wash all of the glue and starch and marking pen out of the block. I pre-wash all
of my fabric before I start the block, so that the colours do not run at this stage. I only wash the finished quilt if really necessary. Hope this helps!
