Drinking Tea and Slow Stitching

This is where you will find me today.  I just made a pot of tea and I am spending most of the day stitching!  Sure, there are lots of things I “should” be doing, but all that stuff can wait…and it will!  I am linking up to Slow Stitching Sunday, so check it out and see what else quilters are doing!

  1. A very Merry Christmas and
Happy New Year to you and your family from Cyprus I am going home to UK for the the holidays 2 weeks. So good time with the family. Best wishes barbara x

  2. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year. I have enjoyed your blog and thank you for sharing your talents. Marge

  3. …Stuff you “should” be doing, according to whom? You will be remembered for a long time for your masterful appliqued quilts. No one is ever remembered by posterity for her sparkling bathrooms or the endless war she waged against dirty laundry! I say, stitch on… 🙂 Merry Christmas, Kerry!

  4. Thank you so much for taking the time to post and make videos, want to add that no detail you share is too little. I have tried your starch technique and have new hope I may actually get a big project done. Will you tell me if you glue all pieces down and then start stitching or do you glue all green leaves, stems etc. first ,stitch then the rest. How did you do the long border you are working on now? Thanks again and Merry Christmas.

  5. I want to blow up your photo to poster size and tack it to the wall to remind myself that it is OKAY to take time for myself and let the chores wait. Stitching is what relaxes me, soothes my soul and makes me happy. I don’t know why I always leave it till last!
